Drive the future
America’s Automotive Trust is dedicated to ensuring the automotive industry and car culture remain vibrant and relevant for generations to come. Through its forward-looking programs and initiatives, the Trust focuses on preserving the heritage of the automobile while fostering innovation and inspiring future enthusiasts. By supporting education, hands-on training, and community engagement, the Trust is cultivating the next generation of automotive professionals and hobbyists who will carry the torch of car culture into the future.
The next generation
At the heart of the Trust’s mission is the
RPM Foundation, which plays a critical role in preparing young people for careers in automotive restoration and preservation. The Foundation provides apprenticeships, mentorships, and hands-on training programs that teach the skills required to build careers in vintage and collector vehicle restoration, maintenance and preservation. A standout initiative is the Great Race X-Cup, which encourages high school and college teams to drive classic cars in a cross-country race, fostering teamwork and technical expertise. By investing in these programs, the RPM Foundation ensures the craftsmanship and dedication required to preserve automotive history are passed on to a new generation.
Educational programs
The Trust also supports educational opportunities at LeMay – America’s Car Museum, where people of all ages can engage with the history and technology of the automobile. Through interactive exhibits, workshops, and hands-on experiences, the museum provides a platform for learning about engineering, design, and innovation. These programs not only teach valuable skills but also inspire a deeper appreciation for the role of the automobile in shaping the world. By connecting education with passion, LeMay fosters creativity and curiosity, ensuring the future of car culture remains as exciting and dynamic as its past.
